Business Account Setup

This guide will walk you through setting up your business account on Clientify.app and preparing for your first customer loyalty program.

Step 1: Create Your Account

  1. Visit clientify.app/signup
  2. Enter your email and create a secure password
  3. Verify your email address (check your inbox)
  4. Choose "Business" when prompted for your role

Step 2: Choose Your Subscription Plan

After creating your account, you'll be prompted to choose a subscription plan:

Starter Plan - $15/month

  • Up to 100 active customers
  • Basic analytics and reporting

Enterprise Plan - Custom Pricing

Payment Options: We accept all major credit cards and process payments securely through Polar. You can cancel anytime with no cancellation fees.

💡 Recommendation: Start with the Business Plan - it includes everything most businesses need, and you can always upgrade or downgrade later.

Step 3: Complete Your Business Profile

Once subscribed, you'll set up your business profile:

Required Information

  • Business Name: This appears on customer loyalty cards
  • Business Category: Helps customers find you (Restaurant, Retail, Service, etc.)
  • Contact Information: Email and phone (for support)
  • Business Logo: Upload your logo (appears on customer cards)
  • Business Description: Brief description of your services
  • Business Hours: When customers can visit
  • Address: Physical location (if applicable)

💡 Pro Tip: A complete profile builds trust with customers and makes your loyalty cards more professional.

Step 4: Understand Your Dashboard

After setup, you'll see your Business Dashboard with:

Main Sections

  • Overview: Key metrics and recent activity
  • Loyalty Programs: Create and manage your programs
  • Customers: View customer activity and visits
  • Analytics: Detailed reports and insights
  • Settings: Business profile and team management

Key Metrics You'll See

  • Total Visits: All-time customer visits
  • Active Cards: Currently active loyalty cards
  • Completed Rewards: Successfully claimed rewards
  • This Month: Current month's activity

Step 5: Team Member Management (Pro+)

If you're on Professional or Enterprise plan, you can invite team members:

How to Add Team Members

  1. Go to Settings > Team
  2. Click "Invite Team Member"
  3. Enter their email address
  4. Choose their permission level
  5. Send invitation

Permission Levels

  • Admin: Full access to everything
  • Manager: Can create/edit programs, view analytics
  • Staff: Can scan QR codes and process visits only

Step 6: Understand Billing

Billing Cycle

  • Monthly or yearly billing
  • Automatic renewal
  • Cancel anytime (service continues until period ends)

What Happens When You Cancel

  • Loyalty programs remain active until end of billing period
  • Customer data export available before cancellation
  • Can reactivate anytime with same programs intact

Upgrading/Downgrading

  • Changes take effect at next billing cycle
  • No interruption to existing programs
  • Data remains intact during transitions

Troubleshooting

Common Setup Issues

Q: I don't see the Business role option
A: Clear your browser cache and try again. The role selection appears after email verification.

Q: Payment failed during subscription
A: Check that your card details are correct and has sufficient funds. Contact hello@clientify.app if issues persist.

Q: Can I switch to Business role later?
A: Yes! Go to your profile settings and click "Switch to Business Role" anytime.

Q: Do I need a physical location?
A: No! Clientify.app works for online businesses, service providers, and any business model.
